Ben heads up the Commercials at Professionals at Play as the Commercial Director, having worked closely with founders Matt & Ben Jones for over 12 Years.

Helping to launch the first Roxy Ball Room in 2013 as the Operations Manager and subsequently 5 original Roxy sites in various UK cities. Ben Side stepped into Concept Taverns in 2018 as an Operations Director, which quickly turned into his first Managing Director role taking Concept from 3 to 11 sites.

Ben returned to Roxy Leisure in 2023 to head up further growth as the Managing Director, opening several sites in 2023 with a further 6 targeted in 2024/25. This Led to a wider role in 2024 as the Commercial Director of Professionals at Play, which saw the combination of two brands Roxy Leisure and Pins Leisure.

Ben is a big supporter of growing revenue and delivering a quality product, with a new outbound Sales team installed across the UK in 2024, taking the economy challenge in hand!

2025 sees the Professionals at Play team rise to the challenge of a growing business, economic challenges and keeping the entrepreneurial flame alight!

With 6 new openings this year, growth is very much at the forefront of the Professionals at Play team!
