Carol Dwyer
After graduating with a MA in Business and Management, Carol pursued a career in advertising at McCann before starting her own food business.
Working with the Prince''s Trust to write the business plan, Deeney''s – Scottish Flavour was launched as a street food concept in the summer of 2012. In 2015 Carol opened the first Deeney''s cafe in Leyton, East London, serving the award-winning ‘Macbeth’ haggis toastie, alongside other Scottish influenced cakes, salads and brunch items. Followed by a second site in Walthamstow.
In September 2017 the first Deeney’s franchise was sold to franchisees in Japan. This was followed by another outlet in Phuket, Thailand.
