Elliot Ball is a London bartender, who, with his partners Olly Brading and Andy Mil, formed the Cocktail Trading Co. (among others), which garnered a reputation for a number of reasons. His background in Neuroscience aided him first in the understanding of flavour, but he eventually devoted his attention to overall enjoyment, and, in founding and running CTC, has experienced really quite a lot along the way, despite his (ever-decreasing) relative youth.

While his company’s approach to systems, operations and spreadsheets generally were vital to their expansion and ultimate survival of COVID (and its aftermath), their other primary is ethical operations, To some, running a ‘good’ company entails increased profits, but the motives of this company are a little different, and the overlap with spreadsheet expertise has left them with an excellent pool of data, off which some conclusions can be drawn, and discussed.
